Hi antonio! Thank you for a very informative video! I’ve liked cuffing my trousers in the past, but I find it makes my legs shorter. Like you said, uncuffed trousers looks more streamlined which is good for people with bupky legs like me. Anyway, that’s just my two cents. Thanks again! Great video!
Welcome!
I cuff my jeans for work. They look great.
Sounds like I should create another video for cuffing jeans or not.
Cuffs help you show off your shoes and gives you a more stylish silhouette.
I wish people these days worried more about cuffing and not cuffing.
Sadly most guys these days were bleached out, ripped skinny jeans and a tank top lol.
Good point.
@Personal Power u got a nice video style!
*CUFF THE JEANS, CUFF THE BITCHES*

That Edward VII again! They say, he invented unbuttoning your suit at the bottom, which is how you wear a suit nowadays. And now cuffs. Wow. A lot comes from that guy.
I like the option to go with cuffs or no cuffs, depending on my mood. Great explanatory video!
Welcome bruced47!
I’m 6’7″ tall. I can’t find pants long enough to cuff if I wanted to.
Real Men Real Style for jeans I wear 36×36 and can get Wranglers at Walmart for under $20. For slacks and such I shop at SteinMart. Shoes (size 16) always online.
Hey Scott – Where do you usually shop?
I like to wear cuffs from time to time. Good video (as usual)
Thanks for it. Great knowledge you give me.
Thanks for this useful video. The Articles of Style also recommends considering the fabric as a factor when deciding to cuff or not. It recommends:
TO CUFF:
Tweed
Flannel
Corduroy
Denim
NOT TO CUFF:
Cotton
Linen
Hopsack
Mohair
Silk Blends
Formalwear

I’m a fan of cuffs!
You know, the historical significance of style is one of my favorite parts of your videos, I’m glad you include it. Good stuff!
Glad someone mentioned it — Thanks Michael 🙂
I always go cuff. It makes my size 15e feet look smaller
I love it cuffed
It looks organized
I like cuffs myself, of course I’m 6’4″ so I am a bit on the tall side! I also like that they make me stand out a little.
how about jeans, doing that flip/cuff thing? I have a pair that are a bit too long, should I cuff them or alter them? I thought you’d talk about that here
That’s for another video.
Jeremy Stig thanks!
Jeremy Stig well said.. i agree
Jeremy Stig pretty much this. also, if you have a nice pair of boots, you can cuff your jeans.

79jrock1 Cuffed is formal with jeans. Less formal will trousers and dress pants.
Personally I go cuffed 4/5 days of the work week. If I need to dress up then I go no cuffs. Honestly being in my early 30s gives me an advantage to cuffing, since it makes your style unique and a bit trendy. I can get away with have alot of room to be creative and still fit in with the norm. I imagine older gents will have a harder time going cuffed, since they need to be more polished and established with their sense of style.
Wow, embarrassed to say that all this time I thought the “cuff” look was formal. O well no matter my new wardrobe will be no cuff all the way. Keep posting great informative videos. I do appreciate “the real style” knowledge you share.
Martin – Thanks for sharing this. Good choice!
Ivan – Cuffs work best on tall men.
Generally I’ll let the style of the pants help decide too, if pleats single or double, yes cuff, if flat front, no cuff.
Imagine:pants with french cuffs
As a Bishop who wears many suits and even though I’m only 5’6″ I prefer cuffs as long as they are tailored right. I personally think they add character and style
Darth Vader I have a type of French cuff pants
Whos in the cuff team?
Me.
