Creative mending and repairing cloths workshop

We are creatives and craftivists and really interested in making time to re-use and repair textiles – the clothes, household linen and toys.
We believe in looking after our clothes and the textiles we use in everyday life, such as bed linen, and re-use, embellish and repair rather than buy new. In this workshop we will show you some basic darning and mending techniques and encourage you to be creative in your own mending projects. Please bring along something you would like to mend, needle, thread, pins and scissors if you’d like to work alongside us. This is not essential as watching and listening is more than OK too!
